Sophie Habboo shares intimate wedding details – including Jamie Laings quirky plans

Sophie Habboo has shared the intimate details from her upcoming wedding to Jamie Laing.

The 29 year old blonde beauty and Jamie, 34, went from best friends to being in love while starring on Channel 4's Made In Chelsea before he got down on one knee and popped the question in December 2021.

With the wedding set to take place in May 2023, Sophie has spoken out on her excitement and nerves in an exclusive interview with OK! magazine at the Chrishell [Stause] x Lipsy Partywear Edit launch on Thursday 3 November.

"There's so much to plan, you would never have thought…" Sophie started. "I had no idea you had to do the plates you want, the cutlery you want, all of those things."

While Sophie shared both her parents and Jamie's are very supportive of everything they want for their big day, one of the biggest stress points has been the guest list – which she called "hell" before sharing that they're inviting around 200 people.

And when it comes to her hen do, it turns out she knows very little as her sister Georgia is organising the whole thing in secret.

What Sophie could reveal, though, is that it will take place abroad and will comprise of her bridesmaids and close friends. She said: "We've got about 30 people in total going to it."

Sophie, who recently recalled the awkward moment a cleaner found their lost sex toy, went on to share her soon-to-be-husband's ideas for the wedding.

She said: "Jaimie is always excited. He wants really quirky things, he wants to do his own first dance, he wants to walk down the aisle, too.

"First dance he wants to do on his own, he wants to do a choreographed dance on his own. I'm like, 'You go for it'. I'm sure he's got things up his sleeve he's nervous about."

As for what she wants for the big day, Sophie confessed she'd love to have a famous singer surprise the guests and perform. "Like Lewis Capaldi or Ronan Keating. They would be my favourite people," she said, adding: "I'm just manifesting that they'll want to do it."

And following the tradition of getting something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue for her wedding, Sophie shared: "My mum has a sapphire ring that was handed down from my grandma. My dress is new!"

"I'm scared to [write my vows]. It'll be last minute, knowing me," she added of her upcoming nuptials.
