The actress is best known for her roles in musical films like 1952’s “Singin’ in the Rain,” 1956’s “The King and I” and 1961’s “West Side Story.” One day before her 90th birthday, she’ll grace the big screen again in Steven Spielberg’s remake of “West Side Story” when it hits theaters.

The veteran actress earned an impressive five Primetime Emmy nominations for her portrayal of Florence Johnston on “The Jeffersons.”

Veteran CBS newsman and national evening news anchor Dan Rather turns 90 on a rather notable day: He was born on Halloween.

Angie Dickinson — who earned a Golden Globe Award for best actress in a drama series in 1975 for her starring turn on TV’s “Police Woman” — turns the big 9-0 on Sept. 30.

Gavin MacLeod — who’s best known for playing Captain Merrill Stubing on TV’s “The Love Boat” — celebrates his 90th birthday on Feb. 28.

Olympia Dukakis is no stranger to winning major accolades. For her portrayal of Rose Castorini in 1987’s “Moonstruck,” she earned an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for best supporting actress.The talented beauty turns 90 on June 20.

Desmond Tutu — the archbishop emeritus of Cape Town, South Africa, who’s beloved for his decades of work as an anti-apartheid and human rights activist — turns 90 on Oct. 7.

“The Sopranos” and “The Godfather Part II” actor Dominic Chianese will walk into his 90s on Feb. 24.

Actress, dancer and singer Mitzi Gaynor — who delivered memorable performances in “There’s No Business Like Show Business” in 1954, “The Birds and the Bees” in 1956 and “South Pacific” in 1958 — turns 90 on Sept. 4.

Baseball great Willie Mays turns 90 on May 6.

Cold War politician Mikhail Gorbachev — the last leader of the Soviet Union who in 1990 won the Nobel Prize for Peace — turns 90 on March 2.

Ballerina-turned-actress Leslie Caron, who made her feature film debut in 1951’s “An American Paris,” celebrates her 90th birthday on July 1.

On March 11, Fox Corporation Chairman Rupert Murdoch will enter his 90s. The media mogul, who’s married to model-actress Jerry Hall, was portrayed by actor Malcolm McDowell in 2019’s “Bombshell.”

On Feb. 6, Mamie Van Doren — who starred in 1957’s “Untamed Youth” — turns 90.

Veteran character actor Philip Baker Hall, who drew raves for his performances in filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson’s movies like “Hard Eight”and “Magnolia,” celebrates his 90th birthday on Sept. 10.

Famed boxing promoter Don King turns 90 on Aug. 20.
