The actress is best known for her roles in musical films like 1952’s “Singin’ in the Rain,” 1956’s “The King and I” and 1961’s “West Side Story.” One day before her 90th birthday, she’ll grace the big screen again in Steven Spielberg’s remake of “West Side Story” when it hits theaters.

Veteran CBS newsman and national evening news anchor Dan Rather turns 90 on a rather notable day: He was born on Halloween.

Angie Dickinson — who earned a Golden Globe Award for best actress in a drama series in 1975 for her starring turn on TV’s “Police Woman” — turns the big 9-0 on Sept. 30.

Gavin MacLeod — who’s best known for playing Captain Merrill Stubing on TV’s “The Love Boat” — celebrates his 90th birthday on Feb. 28.

Olympia Dukakis is no stranger to winning major accolades. For her portrayal of Rose Castorini in 1987’s “Moonstruck,” she earned an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for best supporting actress.The talented beauty turns 90 on June 20.

Desmond Tutu — the archbishop emeritus of Cape Town, South Africa, who’s beloved for his decades of work as an anti-apartheid and human rights activist — turns 90 on Oct. 7.

“The Sopranos” and “The Godfather Part II” actor Dominic Chianese will walk into his 90s on Feb. 24.
