Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival Sells Out In Less Than An Hour

Passes for Travis Scott‘s annual festival Astroworld sold out in less than one hour on Wednesday, May 5.

Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival is scheduled to take place on November 5 and 6 at NRG Park in Texas. Scott is set to headline the festival and is expected to release his latest studio album, Utopia, later this year.

Over 100,000 people have booked passes for the festival, despite the full music lineup yet to be revealed.

Tickets this year started at $300 plus $65 in fees for two-day general admission, a sharp hike from the previous edition’s $179 price. Two-day Stargazing VIP passes were $725 plus a $69 fee and the two-day No Bystander VIP passes were $1,000 plus a $78 fee.

Last year’s edition was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Astroworld Fest was launched in 2018. The inaugural event saw Scott, Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd, Gunna, Houston All Stars, Sheck Wes, Metro Boomin, Trippie Redd, Virgil Abloh, Smokepurpp and Tommy Genesis in the lineup.

A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the festival’s official charity partner, Cactus Jack Foundation.
