Sun Bingo is getting in the Halloween spirit by suggesting some evil twin versions of the traditional bingo ball calls.
No tricks, we’re treating you to some creepy calls, some unnerving nicknames and some bone-chilling bingo puns!
Halloween ball calls
In honour of the spooky season, Sun Bingo has come up with some frighteningly fun Halloween-themed ball calls:
- Number 3 – Happy Halloween!
You might be used to hearing “Cup of Tea” or “You and Me” when ball number three is called.
However, ‘tis the season for Halloween!
To emphasise the rhyme, Sun Bingo recommends elongating the “eee” noise, and screeching like a banshee at the same time.

- Number 10 – Carving pumpkins
The 0 is our pumpkin and the 1 is our carving tool.
- Number 13 – Scream queen
As shown in the usual call, “unlucky for some”, 13 is an unlucky number in many cultures.
Throw in the eerie rhyme “scream queen”, and you’ve got the perfect ingredients for a Halloween ball call.
Now to find a witch’s cauldron to brew all these ingredients in…
- Number 25 – It’s alive!
This call is renamed in honour of the iconic line from the 1931 film Frankenstein.

- Number 31 – All Hallows’ Eve
This was the original name for Halloween. Celebrated on October 31st each year, All Hallows’ Eve marks the evening before All Hallows’ Day (All Saints’ Day).
- Number 38 – Devil’s stare
The 3 is the Devil’s horns and the 8 is the Devil’s eyes.
- Number 46 – Witch’s broomstick
No traffic delays for witches! Their broomsticks allow them to fly high and never be late for a game of bingo at their local halls.
- Number 53 – Run from the zombies
Would you survive a zombie apocalypse? Probably depends on how fast you can run…

- Number 66 – Hell’s missing post
The number “666” is usually associated with the Devil.
If the post in the Underworld is anything like the post on Earth, it’s probably been mixed up at some point.
It’s likely that number 66 has the post meant for number 666.
- Number 77 – Dracula’s dentist
As teeth mean a lot to a vampire’s livelihood, they must see the dentist… right?
Well, the Count needs some dental work as the 7s look like chipped fangs.
- Number 80 – Ghosts’ delight
What’s a ghost’s delight? To cause a fright!
This person has clearly been spooked by something ghoulish, as the 8 looks like eyes wide in terror, and the 0 is a mouth open in horror.

- Number 88 – Something’s watching you
Ever get the feeling that someone, or something, is watching you?
The hairs on your arms and back of your neck stand on end. Well, as both 8s look like eyes, seems like something is peeping out at you…
- Number 90 – Trick or treat candy
It’s Halloween! Sweets and candy are to Halloween what a turkey is to Christmas.
