Anthony Joshua is a British heavyweight boxer with a net worth estimated to be around $80 million. The two-time former unified world heavyweight champion has amassed his fortune courtesy of big fights against the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Andy Ruiz Jr. and Oleksandr Usyk.
After a modest upbringing in Watford, England and Ikenne, Nigeria, Joshua is now able to live a lavish life courtesy of his acquired millions. In this piece, we’ll be taking you through just some of the ways the popular fighter spends his fortune.

8 Gifts For Loved Ones
Perhaps due to his relatively humble upbringing, Anthony Joshua remains a kind and humble man, in spite of his undoubtedly phenomenal success as a boxer. As a result, he spends a lot of his hard-earned money on other people – specifically those he cares about.
Some examples include when he bought his mother a £175k home following his Olympic success, when he bought his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son JJ a £500k penthouse (after they’d split up), when he bough his coach Sean Murphy a £95,000 personalised BMW, and when he bought his mother a Range Rover.
7 Charitable Donations
Continuing with the theme of kindness, in spite of the fact that Joshua has one of the most vicious punches on the planet, he’s an incredibly charitable person and often gives his own money to charities.
In addition to pumping a load of cash into his own local communities, in the midst of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, he paid to help to keep a number of amateur boxing clubs alive after they were not afforded financial backing from the Government. One such club that benefited from his generosity was Finchley ABC – the club where Joshua himself trained as an amateur. He’s also bought Finchley ABC a team bus!
6 An Array Of Homes
As you would expect of a man with Joshua’s money, he owns a number of homes. Over a one year period alone in 2020 and 2021, he spent £7.5 million on a variety of properties, including a £1 million home in North London and three houses in his hometown of Watford worth a total £1.5 million.
Given the vast amount of money he possesses, he was even able to buy a three-bedroomed house in Sheffield, solely for the purpose of being able to train longer hours with his trainer Rob McCracken ahead of his first fight against Oleksandr Usyk.
5 Incredible Cars
In much the same way that he has an impressive collection of homes, Joshua also has a hugely impressive collection of cars at his disposal.
Joshua’s collection includes a £150,000 Range Rover SVO that he helped to design, a £93,000 Jaguar SJR which is one of his favourites, a £600,000 special edition stretch Rolls Royce Phantom that’s three foot longer than the regular version, and a £146,000 Mercedes v8 BiTurbo which he was seen driving around in during a getaway to Spain with his family.

4 Business Investments
No matter how rich a prominent star is, it’s always a good idea to have investments to fall back on – and the very savvy Joshua knows this all too well. That’s why he’s invested his money into a number of businesses over the years.
Notable businesses into which the boxer has invested include Manchester-based percussion muscle therapy and recovery brand Pulseroll, and the fast-growing CBD brand Love Hemp, which started in London but has also branched out to Manchester with an additional office.
3 Expensive Watches
Joshua is currently the owner of one of the most impressive watch collections we’ve ever seen – and some of them really are worth an absolute fortune.
For instance, he owns one worth £350k (that’s according to British newspaper The Sun, but the specific details about the watch aren’t mentioned), a £225,000 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph, and a £120k Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon inspired by the Marvel movie Black Panther. Other pieces in his enviable collection include a recently discontinued rose gold Royal Oak Chronograph and an Oak Offshore Self-winding Chronograph.
2 Dream Vacations
Being in possession of a vast fortune means Joshua can head off on luxury vacations whenever he’s not training for a fight and has a bit of downtime – and he does so a lot. He has a particular fondness for Barbados – an island to which he’s been on a number of occasions.
One such trip occurred over a period in December of 2019 and January of 2020 – just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic – after he regained his world heavyweight titles against Andy Ruiz Jr. Joshua enjoyed activities such as riding around on jet skis and playing with a little monkey – and he was also seen enjoying the company of a mystery lady on the beach.
1 Muhammad Ali Memorabilia
Following his eleventh-round knockout of Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko in 2017, Joshua treated himself to a gift – some iconic memorabilia related to his boxing hero Muhammad Ali. The memorabilia in question was a signed glove, with the framed item coming complete with a built-in television screen which allows Joshua to watch back some of Ali’s classic moments.
Although he idolises the late, great Ali, Joshua admitted he’ll never be on his level, saying “Can I ever see a time that it will be Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Joshua? Nah!” That was back in 2017 and, as good as Joshua is, it’s fair to say he was proved right in that regard!
