A woman was left in shock after finding out the bloke interviewing her for a new job is the very same man she 'ghosted' six years ago.
Rylie Jouett, from Austin, Texas, went viral after she shared a video claiming she was due to interview for a barista position at an undisclosed company by a man she stopped replying to after a date years prior.
The 25-year-old claims the bloke was really nice and had the best intentions for her – but said she felt like he was “obsessed” with her and “very intense” at the time.

In the video, which has gained more than 2.1million likes, she wrote: "Karma is the nastiest b***h I ever met bc (because) six years ago when I was 19 I ghosted the nicest guy who had the best intentions for me & tell me why he’s the person that’s interviewing me for a job that I desperately need tomorrow."
She has since posted follow-up clips to address viewers' concerns that it might be “awkward” to interview her, claiming they only “kissed once six years ago on a date”.
People criticised her for ghosting the bloke and said she should have been honest and told him that she didn't want to see him again.
But she has since defended herself in an interview with the New York Post, as she said: "I made the video because I felt like a lot of people could relate to ghosting people as a teenager without thinking about the consequences of being immature and having poor communication skills."
However, other TikTok viewers are more hopeful about the pair as they believe it must be destiny bringing them together again.
One user said: "Maybe it’s not karma but cupid."
Another added: "Plot of a rom-com. If he invites you to the company retreat this weekend to see how you fit in, but really so he can get to know you again, let us know."
A third wrote: "Maybe it's not karma. Maybe it's the universe putting him in your path again."

Ironically, Rylie said she was offered the job but she turned it down and the bloke never replied.
“He did offer me the barista position at the end of our interview. I ended up turning the offer down because I got offered a higher-paying position somewhere else,” she added.
“He never responded to my message declining the offer. As far as I’m aware, he hasn’t seen the video.”
