Coldplay fans have been left in hysterics during their live concert at Wembley tonight as none other than Alan Partridge turned up.
And that’s not all. The icing on the cake was the Steve Coogan actor rocking up to duet Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill as well as a smash hit from ABBA.
Only a few nights ago, Coldplay surprised fans at their sold-out Music of the Spheres tour with Craig David, and now, Partridge has made his debut.
The comedy character is known for being a parody of British TV personalities, as Coogan plays a failed presenter trying to save his career.
Tonight, he swapped news broadcasting for performing on stage to a roaring crowd, and fans couldn’t get over the iconic moment.
In true Alan Partridge style, he took centre stage with Chris Martin backing him up.

He then walked over to some of his band-members for a quick chat before telling the bemused audience that the band had a limited time left to perform due to Wembley Stadium curfew policies.
He then asked the sold-out crowd to make the most of the time left by putting away their phones.
He said: ‘So, let’s try that again [restart the song] but please, if we could just have one song with no cell phones, no cameras, no devices, nothing, just the power of people, people power,’ to which his request was met with rounds of applause.
He continued: ‘I won’t do the whole speech because it takes ages, but the basis of it is, let’s just connect together as one group of people and see how high you can jump, how loud you can shout, and no phones, no cameras.
‘After this song, you can film everything. But for this one song, let’s just be people together, me, you, my brother, my sister and let’s try it again.’
