Aldi slashes price of prosecco in time for Jubilee Weekend

NO MATTER how you're celebrating the Jubilee Weekend, it wouldn't be quite right without a bottle of bubbly.

Luckily, Aldi have slashed the price of their prosecco just in time.

If you're planning to raise a glass you can grab a bargain bottle of Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC for £4.99.

Originally priced at £5.99 the saving might seem small, but we all know that every penny counts.

The beverage is described as having "soft and fruity peach and pear flavours, with notes of breezy apple peel and lemon zest."

Whether you're cooking up a feast or preparing some Jubilee themed nibbles, the sparkling drink should go down a treat.
