Love Island’s Amber Davies isn’t the only member of her family to forge a career in performing.
On Saturday night, viewers were introduced to her sister Jade Davis who was part of the choir Welsh of the West End as they auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent.
The 10 member group are all professional singers and, as the name suggests, have all performed – or currently perform – in London’s West End.
The choir began during lockdown as a form of entertainment whilst their industry came to a halt and the choir's online presence exploded, The Sun reports.
They've since travelled around the world performing together at incredible venues and have become a tight knit group.
In particular, Amber’s sister Jade Davis is a key member of the choir and has previously performed in Sister Act, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Phantom of the Opera.
Jade, 29, shares a close bond with Amber, 28, with the reality star previously stating she was inspired by her sister to become a performer.
They often take to Instagram to share sweet pictures together and Jade posted a moving message when Amber performed in Bring It On at the start of 2021.
She wrote: “I can’t even comprehend what I felt last night seeing my baby sister up on that stage.. where she should be always. Definitely cried from start to finish. You’re an absolute superstar @amb_d and when I thought you couldn’t blow me away any more you did!
“Beyond proud! And of course, had to get the t shirt! Number one fan over here! Incredible job from all @bringitonuktour”.
Amber isn’t Jade’s only connection to the performing world as Jade she is dating Luke Newton, who plays Colin Bridgerton, in the Netflix series.
The pair have been dating since early 2019 and Jade never shies away from professing her love for her beau.
To celebrate the news that Luke’s on screen character would have a bigger role in Bridgerton season three, she posted a video of the pair locking lips and wrote: “It’s your time. And no one deserves it more. I’ll be with you every step of the way.”
She previously called the actor the love of her life: “There’s nothing quite like time away in the sun with the love of ya life. Pure heaven”.
And, to celebrate Bridgterton season two she recalled the moment Luke called her to tell her the news he had the part in the show: “ITS BRIDGERTON DAY! Bit of a soppy one but from doing the self tape together, to the day Luke called me whilst I was in Estonia early 2019 to tell me he got the part!! ( I cried obvs ) to the release of season 1 and now to this day right here!
“What an incredible journey lukey. It makes me so emotional! You work so so hard and it’s all paying off! I love nothing more than spending my evenings going over and over your lines with you ready for filming days! Those 3am wake up calls are all worth it and I can’t wait to be right by your side to do it all over again!
“Proud isn’t even the word to describe it! I’m completely in awe of you @lukenewtonuk and I love you so much! I’ll be sat in front of the tele with a cuppa until further notice.. already on ep 4.”
