B&M brings back retro 90s chocolate favourite and fans are loving it | The Sun

SHOPPERS have been left brimming with nostalgia after B&M brought back a tasty 90s chocolate.

The retailer is now selling Cadbury's Astros, which were first launched in the 90s and then went out of circulation.

One eagle-eyed shopper took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group sharing a photo of a box of the tasty treats from her local B&M store in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

The 40g box cost the customer £1.

Sainsbury's, Asda, Tesco and Morrisons don't stock the chocolate snack online but one website does, although for over double the cost.

The shopper said on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK: "Guess what I came across in B&M today, I was like a big kid. Childhood nostalgia."

B&M is known for stocking unusual flavours of sweets and chocolate.

In April last year the retailer started selling Mint Cookie Fudge, Gold Krisp, Gooey Caramel and Gold KitKats, as well as a Milkybar Whirl which couldn't be bought anywhere else.

In May 2020 they brought back Cadbury Dream bars for £2.99.

Before then, UK shoppers could only buy the chocolate bar for £5.99 from GB Gifts.

The Astro's arrival comes just weeks after Pot Noodle brought back its iconic Doner Kebab flavour after nine years.

And Iceland shocked shoppers earlier this month when it brought back every kids' favourite dinosaur chicken nuggets.

The item will set you back £2 and you can find them in the frozen aisle.

We've asked B&M if Astro's are available in all stores or just selected locations and will update when we hear back.

You can't get hold of them on their website, even though B&M has only in the last month or so launched online ordering.

We've also asked how long the Astro's will be available for, and when they were last on shelves.
