While December 25 is just around the corner, the prospect of a white Christmas isn’t looking likely.
As we organise the last of our Christmas shopping, temperatures are set to soar unseasonably high with the mercury reading higher than Madrid.
Some cities in the UK are predicted to reach 13 degrees Celsius while Spain is just one-degree cooler.
The mercury is set to reach a balmy 10C in Leeds and 12C in Cardiff, rising to 13C in London.

However, the warmer weather is a break from the windy, wet weather and storms the UK experienced over the weekend.
A Met Office forecaster said: "Feeling very mild for the time of year with temperatures above average in the south today."
The mild weather isn’t set to last and rain, fog and wind is gathering pace to end the week.
Met Office meteorologist Annie Shuttleworth said: "It will be very mild to start on Monday morning and will continue that way throughout the day.
"A weather front will continue to affect parts of Wales and central England, with the rain perhaps turning more persistent.
"Northern parts of England, southern Scotland and Northern Ireland, a good deal of sunshine throughout the day, with some showers continuing to affect north western Scotland.
"Very mild in the south east still, once again with temperatures around 12C or 13C."
Temperatures are predicted to remain higher as we edge toward Christmas meaning the chances of snow are low at present.
Sky News' meteorologist Christopher England said: "It's far too early to give any detailed forecast, but it looks like being mostly dry and settled from Christmas through to New Year, with a risk of overnight fog and frost.
"It should be quite mild by day, with some sunshine, although any fog will be slow to clear, lingering all day in places.
"The far northwest looks more unsettled, with a risk of showers or longer spells of rain. There doesn't seem to be much chance of a white Christmas."
