The biggest family in Britain is expecting another member to join the ranks.

Parents-of-22, Sue and Noel Radford announced that their eldest son, Chris, 31, is expecting a baby with his wife.

The newborn will be the couple’s seventh grandchild.

Chris already has two children, Maisie, three, and Jacob, one, but announced the exciting news on Instagram this week.

The baby is due in September.

Chris shared a photo of the baby scan, and wrote: “So that’s baby number 3 cooking nicely another little boy.”

Sue and Noel also have grandkids Daisy, eight, Ayprill, six, and Leo, five, to daughter Sophie, 27, and her husband, Joe.

Plus, Millie, 19, gave birth to baby Ophelia in September 2020.

She lives with Sue and Noel at the family home in Morecambe, Lancashire.

The couple explained that they’re excited about the new grandchild online.

They posted: “Another beautiful grandson on the way.”

Sue, 46, and Noel, 50, are parents to Chris, 31, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 25, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 20, Millie, 19, Katie, 18, James, 17, Ellie, 15, Aimee, 14, Josh, 13, Max, 12, Tillie, 10, Oscar, nine, Casper, eight, Hallie, five, Phoebe, four, Archie, three, Bonnie, two, and Heidie, one.

And, Sue has insisted she will not be having any more children after delivering Heidie in lockdown.

The couple support their massive brood using money from their pie shop.

On their recent Channel 5 programme 22 Kids & Counting, mum Sue revealed they had spent a whopping £1million on raising their kids.

She also explained that she’s been pregnant for 16 and a half years of her life.

Noel said: “It’s about £30,000 just to keep the house going and feed everybody. So it’s a lot of pies we’ve got to sell to support us all!

"It’s a huge responsibility having 22 kids. I try not to let it get to me."

Noel has been as baker for 25 years and has worked his way up from trainee to manager and owner.

When asked if the family were rich, Sue replied: “Absolutely not, we’re definitely not secret millionaires.

“To me rich would be having a big mansion, the flash cars and quite a few hundred thousand in the bank, to me that would be rich but we are not that.”

The only other source of income the family get is through brand partnerships on social media.

The Radfords boast a following of more than 380,000 on Instagram, where they regularly share what the family are up to.
