Brooke Shields doesn’t mince words when it comes to the challenge of raising teenagers.

“It’s so much fun,” Shields, 56, sarcastically told Dax Shepard and Monica Padman of raising daughters Rowan and Grier Henchy on Monday’s “Armchair Expert” podcast episode.

When asked how old they are, the actress said daughters Rowan and Grier are “18 and a–hole,” respectively.

“[Grier] just FaceTimed me about this dress that she wants to buy, and I’m trying to succinctly tell her what is the best plan of action to get said dress … I was laying it out,” Shields added.

“Then I get a text that says, ‘I don’t appreciate the way you talk to me. I think you talk to me like I am a child.’”

However, the “Blue Lagoon” actress was sure to note that she’s proud of her daughter — real age 15 — more than anything else.

“[She] shocks me at times,” the “Endless Love” actress told Shepard. “She’s a social justice warrior. She can take an argument. I’d love her to be a prosecutor.”

Shields shares Grier and Rowan, a freshman at Wake Forest University, with her husband, screenwriter Christopher Henchy — to whom she’s been married for 20 years — though notes that he’s not always on the receiving end of sassy texts.

“Their dad is kind of their first love,” Shields dished. “There’s something in that.”

But despite that dynamic, Shields cops to getting all the juicy gossip.

“My girls tell me everything,” Shields said. “And it usually ends up with, ‘Don’t tell Dad.’”
