Can YOU pick out the bargain garden furniture? As Aldi unveils new range, FEMAIL reveals the bargain pieces with designer lookalikes – including £990 wine glasses that look like a £60 set

  • This weekend will be a time for BBQs, picnics and back garden get-togethers
  • Budget retailers including Aldi have released furniture to refresh your garden
  • They look strikingly like high-end pieces from stores like John Lewis
  • Can you tell the expensive designs from their cut-price lookalikes?

The summer heatwave means this weekend is a perfect time for BBQs, picnics and back garden get-togethers.

And retailers like B&M and Argos offer affordable garden furniture ranges so you can revamp your outdoor space without breaking the bank.

This week, Aldi became the latest bargain retailer to unveil its garden furniture range, offering everything from outdoor sofas to firepits.

From stylish rattan bistro seats to comfy bean bag beds for lazing in the sun, there are a dizzying number of outdoor designs to choose from – and they look just like pieces from high end stores like John Lewis.

Argos, for example, is selling a £40 BBQ that looks strikingly similar to one from John Lewis, while the £150 B&M egg chair bears more than a passing resemblance to a £599 one on sale at Rattan Direct.

Here, FEMAIL reveals a selection of affordable garden furniture alongside their designer lookalikes. See if you can tell them apart, then check your answers at the bottom of the story.
