Christmas is now only a week away.
And that means it is the season of spending time with loved ones and more importantly stuffing your face with chocolate.
From selection boxes to Terry’s Chocolate Orange – the festive season is nothing without a barrage of sweet treats.
So TikTok chef, Steve Devereux (or more commonly known as Food Made Simple) has incorporated the fan favourite chocolate orange to make a dessert worthy of choccy-heaven.
He has now shared his mouth watering ‘Chocolate Orange No Bake Cake’ recipe to his 577,000 TikTok followers just in time for Christmas.
First, the chef layers a tin with Jaffa Cakes and then uses a potato masher to squish the circular snacks together.
Next, Steve melts some Terry’s Chocolate Orange segments down and pours the mixture on top.
The cocoa and orange themed sweet treat does not stop there.
Steve then places orange flavoured KitKats on top scatters some crushed orange Club biscuits to amp up the flavour.
Then, the social media baker breaks up pieces of fudge to add to the delicious looking dessert.
To finish off the no bake cake, Steve pours on more melted chocolate orange.
He finishes the pud off with a flourish, decorating it with Jaffa Cakes and chocolate orange segments.
All that is left to do is whack the dish in the fridge and enjoy the citrus infused delight.
Amazed at Steve’s creation, many people fled to the comments to praise the chef.
One person commented: “Orange flavoured chocolate is the best and nobody will ever change my mind.”
Another user added: “I’m trying this.”
A third person voiced: “That looks absolutely lush.”
Someone else said: “My idea of heaven.”
However, not everyone was sold on the chocolate orange cake.
One user remarked: “Looks rank.”
As another person stated: “I woke up this morning and thought I wanted a cardiac arrest, thank you.”
