A couple who went viral for sharing that they might have the same dad have finally done a DNA test – and have refused to put their relationship 'on hold' while they wait for results.

Carley and Mercedes are in their mid twenties, have been dating for two years and have been inseparable ever since they laid eyes on each other at a bar.

The two brunette beauties have spent ‘everyday’ with each other and have even started a joint OnlyFans to show off the more ‘intimate’ side of their relationship.

Deep in love and passion, the pair from Ontario, Canada, decided to have their mums over for a good ole chin wag.

However, this bonding time might have just put a spanner in the works.

Talking about their heydays the mothers spilled on their wild youth and then dropped the bombshell that they both had bonked the same guy – meaning Carley and Mercedes may have a little more in common than they first thought.

The couple now believe that they could be half sisters – and have even been told they look like “twins.”

Now, in an exclusive interview with Daily Star the potentially related couple have shared that they have done a DNA test and are not putting their relationship to one side – despite not knowing the results.

The loved up pair said: “We met at a bar and have spent everyday together since then!

“We started our OnlyFans together during the pandemic, and made our TikTok account shortly after that! Our OnlyFans shows the more intimate side of our relationship.”

Although the saucy side of their relationship is kept for their kinky subscribers, opening up about their potential family link on TikTok is not off bounds – and Carley and Mercedes’ 826,000 followers are eager to know if they share a stronger bond than first thought.

“We had our mums over one night and because we’re all from the same hometown they were talking about places and people they used to hangout with back in the day.

“It somehow came out that they both had been with the same guy and we all thought it was the craziest coincidence!”

They documented themselves taking the at-home DNA test for TikTok user – but fans may have to wait a little longer for the verdict.

“We sent off the testing kits less than a week ago and it says it could take two to six weeks for results. For both tests it cost $300(£246).

“It's been a lot for us to process, but because we don’t know for sure, we haven’t put our relationship on hold.”

When asked if they are going to stay together if the results come back saying they are related and are actually half sisters, the couple shied away from answering – for now.

They added: “This is a really hard question, especially having thousands of outside opinions, but we’ve decided to keep this answer to ourselves until we know the results.

“The reaction [online] has actually been lot better than we expected.

“More than half of the comments/messages we get are positive and supportive, but of course we’ve received negative and hateful comments.

“We try to take all the negative with a grain of salt and focus on the fact that regardless of what the world says about our situation.

“We get to make the choice about what to do with our own lives.”

Time better fly for the pair…
