Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden appeared delighted to hit the slopes with her father today.
The royal, 45, grinned as she and King Carl XVI Gustaf, 76, enjoyed a spot of skiing during the Society and Defence Conference (Folk och Försvar) in the village of Salen.
The mother-of-two donned an athletic navy ensemble with some chic ski trousers and a matching pullover, adding a pop of colour with a bubblegum pink beanie, smiling for a photo in the snow.
The photo op comes after it emerged her father feeks it ‘wasn’t fair’ that his daughter was made to heir-to-the-throne when a change in succession laws happened in 1980 – stripping his son of his position as King in waiting.

Crown Princess Victoria was two-years-old when the new law was introduced and updated the natural order of succession by stating that the eldest child, regardless of gender, should inherit the throne.
Up until then, her younger brother Carl Philip, who was seven months old, was meant to become King, because the previous law favoured male heirs.
However he was stripped of his Crown Prince title under the new law and Victoria became the heir apparent.
And in an interview released this week with local news channel SVT, the Swedish King, 76, said he felt it had been unfair to apply the new law to his children after they were already born.

However in a statement released last week, the monarch clarified his comments.
‘It has pained me deeply when, in retrospect, I have heard comments that claim that I would not stand behind my daughter, Crown Princess Victoria, as Sweden’s heir to the throne,’ he said.
There was certainly no hint of tension between the pair who looked relaxed in each other’s company as they hit the slopes.
For today’s outing, Victoria had her chestnut tresses pulled back for ease, looking youthful as ever with a fresh faced make-up look.
Elsewhere the king donned some black ski trousers and a trendy red jacket from The North Face.
He opted for a warm hat, adorned with a festive print, as he posed on skiis next to his daughter.
Meanwhile yesterday, the princess wrapped up warm while appearing in the frosty conditions in a large black waterproof coat and straight leg trousers as she made the journey to West Sweden.

The association was founded in 1940 with the goal to ‘build a bridge between society and the armed forces’.
