He’s Denise’s first boyfriend since her 2013 split from Lee, and he’s been described by friends as “charming, genuine and a really lovely guy,” according to the Daily Mirror.
The pair seem to have a very honest relationship, with Denise saying on Loose Women in January 2018: “My other-half, Eddie, knows the passcode to my phone and he can look at it whenever he wants.
"If I have flirty banter or something… because I've got a lot of male friends, and because I've got quite a male sense of humour, he knows it's banter."

Denise has also revealed the pair have a “very healthy sex life,” adding: “we don't have to [masturbate]."
The pair share a gorgeous home together, and they spent the first year doing up the inside, with plans to start on the outside scuppered by lockdown.
Despite their instant connection, the couple have always taken things slow.
When it comes to the topic of getting engaged, they both insist there’s no rush. “We’ve always said we’d never rule it out,” Denise says.
Lee Mead
The blonde beauty was married to English music theatre star and actor Lee Mead from 2009 until 2013.
Lee was well known for his roles in the likes of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Wicked and Legally Blonde: The Musical.
Lee and Denise met on the TV show Any Dream Will Do where she was a judge and he was a contestant, and they share daughter Besty together, who they welcomed in 2010.
The pair’s marriage was a hot topic of conversation for a while before they split, with Denise saying at one point: “It is really difficult. We just haven't seen each other.
“I started on Strictly in September and we have literally been like ships passing in the night. I'm not going to lie, it is a massive strain on the relationship.”
When they split, Denise’s spokesperson said in a statement: “Following continued speculation, Denise Van Outen and Lee Mead are sad to confirm they have decided to separate.
“The couple remain the best of friends, with their daughter Betsy as their number one priority. The family ask for privacy at this time.”
In a recent chat with OK!, Denise confirmed she and Lee “get on really well,” adding: “Betsy sees her dad a lot. If he’s busy I help him and if I’m busy he helps me.”
Richard Traviss
Denise dated Richard Traviss from 2003 until 2005.
Denise was engaged to nightclub owner Richard, and they reportedly had an amicable split.
The star told ES Magazine: “We're still talking and we're still great mates.”
During their time together, Richard bought Denise 100 red roses during hr opening night in the West End.
A friend also told the Daily Mail: “They bought a gorgeous two-storey apartment in Marylebone – very near to where Madonna lives with Guy Ritchie – which they have been decorating over the past few months.
"They want it to be absolutely perfect and didn't want to move in until all the work had been completed – they are now planning to move in at the beginning of December.
"Although they don't live together yet, they spend nearly every night together."
Nick Moran
Denise dated English actor and filmmaker Nick Moran in 2001, who’s best known for his roles in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and as Scabior in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Part 2.
Jason Kay
Shortly before her short romance with Nick, Denise dated Jason Kay from 1998 until 2001.
Jason is an English singer-songwriter who rose to fame as a founding member of jazz-funk band Jamiroquai.
After the pair went their separate ways it’s rumoured Jaso poured his sadness into one of the biggest singles of 2001.

"No one else is like her at all. She's bonkers and makes me laugh, I wouldn't want anyone else."
However, Denise and Jason’s busy schedules took its toll on their relationship, with Jason saying: “If Denise and I get to spend five days together it's a bonus. We hardly get to see each other because of our schedules.
"We may go out once in a while and when we do we always get recognised. Some people notice Denise and haven't got a clue who I am."
