Drake confessed to getting high right before he landed his role on “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”

“I go back to this day when I was like 13 or 14. I had an audition for a TV show that ultimately shaped my life,” the rapper, born Aubrey Graham, said in a voice recording posted to Instagram Wednesday.

“Before my audition, I went to this kid’s house. Out of a desire to be accepted, I would succumb to peer pressure, and I got high with these kids right before my audition.”

The “Take Care” artist, 36, revealed that he often wonders whether life since his time on the Canadian teen drama has been real or his imagination.

He played Jimmy Brooks on screen from 2001 to 2009 prior to his successful music career.

“I kind of wonder … maybe I’m still high, maybe I’m in some coma, and this is just me playing out my ideal life. That concept has stuck with me for a lot of years.”

The Grammy winner went into “deep spiral of thought” after being asked about his “biggest fear.”

“I’ve never really had a good answer for it, but my answer was that all this is for nothing,” he said. “The idea that one day life ends and it just all goes black.”

He added he thinks about how life would have been different if “something bad” had happened the day of his “Degrassi” audition.

The “One Dance” singer’s character in the hit series was a basketball player who got shot in the back in Season 4 and became paralyzed from the waist down.

The hitmaker admitted that he wanted to keep his acting and singing talents separate despite pressure from producers.

“He would play us mixtapes and we really tried to talk him into letting us use some of his music in the show and getting him to rap and sing,” the show’s executive producer Stephen Stohn previously told Page Six.

He eventually rapped in one Season 7 episode for a talent show and left later the same year to pursue his music career.

But in 2018, Drake reunited the whole “Degrassi” cast for his “I’m Upset” music video.

The 10-year high school reunion video included cast members Miriam MacDonald, Lauren Collins, Shane Kippel, Cassie Steele and Nina Dobrev all grown up.
