A driver was shamed for taking up a spot intended for an electric car – even though they had one!
An angry passer-by left a passive aggressive note on their windscreen.
The sarcastic message, which was left anonymously, reads: "This is NOT an electric car. I guess you also park in disabled spaces when you have a cold."

A photo of the motor was uploaded onto Reddit with the caption: "Parking rage – this is not an electric car".
The post garnered more than 51,000 upvotes and thousands of comments.
Some shamed the stranger for taking the time to write the aggy letter.
One Redditor replied: "I mean… if it plugs, it parks. P*** off"
Another said: "I never understood the logic behind insulting a stranger in a passive aggressive note.
"Most readers will assume they've ruined some unhinged a***holes day and laugh. The insult might as well be written on a bathroom stall."
And a third agreed: "Imagine being so miserable that you have to carry around post-it notes to leave on other people's cars. This took time and energy. They're probably still raving about it to anyone that'll listen."
While many were on the driver's side, others sympathised with the note writer.
They pointed out BEV cars that run purely on electric fuel are reliant on charging stations.
In contrast, PHEV vehicles can run on gas and don't need to use chargers as a priority.
One commenter said: "I can understand their frustration to a point. With an BEV its their only fuel option whereas for the PHEV the electricity is more of a bonus than a requirement.
"Hopefully eventually there will be enough chargers for everyone that wants or needs one."
And another agreed: "Disclaimer: I have a PHEV. (Also I never used a public charger lmao)
"I can understand BEV owner getting mad but only if the phev is fully charged and just taking up the spot."
