Where is Abi Branning actress Lorna Fitzgerald now?

Just like Jacqueline, Abi, who delivered essential items during lockdown, was also cut from the soap in 2018 and she came to quite a dramatic end on the soap.

Abi fell off a roof and was declared braindead as a result, and so EastEnders fans said goodbye to the role.

Since leaving the square, the talented actress, who is now 25 years old, decided to turn to stage work and she starred in the Hitchcock adaptation The Lady Vanishes.

She is currently starring in a show named 'Til Love do us part at the Edinburgh Fringe.

On Instagram, Lorna can be found sharing life updates with her 63,000 followers.

She recently told fans: "Last night we performed our first sold out performance of ‘Til love do us part’ Written by @thespianandproud! I feel very grateful to be working with such a lovely team and to be on stage again after such long hiatus!"

As well as stage, Lorna also turned to screen again and played Emmeline in The Loss Adjuster.

Discussing her role, she told Metro.co.uk: "I think that’s the biggest difference between Emmeline and Abi Branning, compared to what I was used to playing – that silently strong thing.

"She knows her mind and she’s quietly confident. She doesn’t need to prove herself to anyone.

"That was great to play because it’s just nice to play someone who’s just who they are. You don’t have to do any insecurities or stuff like that, because Luke was doing that."

Jake Wood, who played Max Branning, stayed on the soap until 2019 and became an iconic role.

Since leaving, he is appearing alongside singer Lily Allen in the stage play 2:22 A Ghost Story in London's West End, and he's also interviews boxers on his Pound for Pound podcast.

Jacqueline Jossa is currently doing up her new £1million home with hubby Dan Osborne and their two children, and she also went on to be crowned winner of I'm A Celebrity in 2019.
