Jack was born in September 2001, making him 20 years old. His soap character is actually 18, meaning he is two years older than his on-screen counterpart.
He hails from Leeds, and started acting at a very young age having set his sights on stardom.
Before landing his soap role, Jack starred as Peter Morley in Heartbeat, and he appeared as a background extra in Emmerdale.
The actor landed the role of Noah, Charity Dingle's son, in 2009, and has remained on the soap ever since. In 2010, he portrayed Young Robin in the 2010 film Robin Hood.
Jack tends to keep his personal life out of the spotlight despite his soap stardom, and over the years has only shared a handful of posts on social media.
In one snap, he can be seen beaming with his fellow co-stars when they were younger, including Daisy Campbell who plays Amelia Spencer.
Jack shared the adorable snap, which also features Joe-Warren Plant, back in 2019 in order to mark his 10 year anniversary on Emmerdale.
He wrote: "Doesn't feel like it's been 10 years," with Daisy agreeing, writing: "It feels like yesterday ahah".
Most recently, Jack has opened up about his character's new storyline, having recently revealed that he'd been researching stalkers in order to make sure the story is accurate.
When discussing whether Noah knows that what he's doing is wrong, the 20 year old told Digital Spy: "He doesn't see it at the time, like a lot of stalkers in real life when I've been researching, they don't see that what they're doing is wrong.
"He thought that he was trying to be kind to her and trying to get her to see the real him and see that what he was doing was right, and that he just wanted to know more about her really, and get closer to her."
Hinting at what's to come, Jack went on to speak about how Noah will react when Chloe uncovers the truth, revealing that the character will be in "a state of panic" and that he "has no idea what to do".
Jack also said that he's not surprised at how Noah has turned out, adding: "I'm not really surprised, to be honest.
"He's not acted in the right ways around girls in the past, and with his mum, Charity, and her very interesting relationships throughout him growing up, I think it's all had a really negative effect on his view of women and how he should act around women."
