Everything Marvel Revealed During Star-Studded Comic-Con 2022 Hall H Presentation (Updating Live)

Kevin Feige is in the house for a panel sure-to-be packed with footage, announcements and surprise guests.

For the first time in three years, Marvel Studios is back at Comic-Con for a Hall H presentation that’s sure to be the talk of the entire weekend.

Heading into the event, not too much was known about what Marvel and head honcho Kevin Feige had planned — but looking at the studio’s slate, expectations were high they would barrel toward the end of Phase Four and share some Phase Five reveals.

The next movie out in theaters is “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” — a film which has remained shrouded in secrecy, despite dropping in November of this year. The movie has the difficult task of replacing Chadwick Boseman as the titular superhero, following his death in 2020.

The panel kicked off with a sizzle reel of everything we’ve seen before, before a sweet intro from Miss Minutes welcomed everyone to the “Comic-Con panel at the end of time.” With that Feige took the stage to thunderous applause and reminded us all that almost everything he revealed three years ago has come to fruition. He then took a look at the future, after Phase Four ends with “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

He introduced Phase Five, which kicks off with “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” on February 17, 2023, followed by “Secret Invasion” in Spring 2023, then “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” in May 5, 2023 and “Echo” in Summer 2023. “Loke” Season 2 is next in Summer 2023, followed by “The Marvels” on July 28, 2023 and “Blade” on November 3, 2023. After that, is “Ironheart” in Fall 2023, “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” in Winter 2023/24, a new “Daredevil” series with Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio returning in Spring 2024, Sam Wilson’s “Captain America: New World Order” in May 3, 2024, before it all culminates with “Thunderbolts,” with a lineup to be revealed at a later date — likely D23.

Then the cast of “She-Hulk” hit the stage to confirm that ]Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Tim Roth;s Abomination and Benedict Wong’s Wong will all cameo.

We’ll keep updating this post with new details, photos and videos are they’re released — but here’s what we’re expecting more info on:

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”:

Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Martin Freeman, Winston Duke and Angela Bassett are all expected to return, while Dominique Thorne is set to make her debut as Iron Man successor Ironheart. Michaela Cole was also cast in a mystery role — which will hopefully be revealed — while Tenoch Huerta has been rumored to play main antagonist Namor, which would introduce Atlantis to the MCU.

The movie hits theaters November 11, 2022.

As the first MCU film of 2023, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” finds Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly back in their titular roles — alongside returning stars Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfieffer. Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conquerer — who was introduced on Loki — also joins the cast, as does Kathryn Newton, who takes over as Cassie Lang, Scott’s daughter.

It’s due out February 17, 2023.

“Guardians Vol 3,” meanwhile, has been teased by cast members as the end of a trilogy, one that will also introduce Will Poulter’s massively powerful Adam Warlock. Stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki and Sean Gunn are also all expected to return.

The film is due out May 5, 2023.

“The Marvels” recently wrapped filming as well and is set for a 2023 release. The movie sees the return of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, as well as Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan (AKA Ms. Marvel), Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury.

Considering how “Ms. Marvel” ended with (SPOILER ALERT) Carol and Kamala seemingly swapping places, it should be interesting to see how that will play out in the film.

“The Marvels” is set for a July 28, 2023 release, which will be right around Comic-Con 2023.

The biggest reveal could be the cast of “Fantastic Four,” which is the next and final film in Phase 4 — while fans are eagerly awaiting information on “Blade” with Mahershala Ali, “Captain America 4” with Anthony Mackie, a new “Deadpool” movie or anything X-Men and or “Avengers 5” related.

Fans should also expect some news on the Disney+ side of things as well, with new and/or first sneak peeks at “She-Hulk” with Tatiana Maslany, a Halloween special starring Gael Garcia Bernal, “Secret Invasion” with Samuel L. Jackson and Emilia Clarke and “Echo.”
