Faye Winter and Teddy Soares confirm home renovation plans and would love to be in by Christmas

Faye Winter and Teddy Soares have finally settled on a home following their house hunt, and it's a bit of a project.

Speaking to OK! whilst on the red carpet for the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, the gorgeous couple revealed their plans to renovate, adding that they'd "love to be in by Christmas".

Former estate agent Faye, 25, and former financial advisor Teddy, 26, met this summer on Love Island, and have been making long distance work over the past few months.

Teddy was based in Manchester prior to the show, and Faye in her hometown of Devon, but they have decided to move into a home on the outskirts of London.

When asked if they'd settled on a property, 25 year old Faye said: "Yeah, our house is a bit of a project, which I'm a project manager for!"

The hilarious Love Island star claimed that she was in charge of the whole development, joking that: "I've taken the reigns on the development of the property", to which Teddy responded by walking off and yelling "Bye!"

The ex-model quickly came back to his girlfriend's side, as Faye added that "I don't know if it [their home] will be ready by Christmas to host".

Teddy, 26, told us that he is feeling optimistic about the renovation plans, saying that "We'd love to be in by Christmas."

He explained that both him and Faye are huge homebodies and are very close to their families, explaining they'd been roped into hosting this year whether they liked it or not.

"We'd love to be in by Christmas, we're both huge family people as well.

"My mum was like 'you guys ARE hosting Christmas!'" he added.

Faye revealed that she and Teddy "didn't get a choice" in the matter, as his mum made it clear she would be heading to their renovated property for the big day.

The former Lettings Manger said: "We didn't get a choice, she was literally like 'we are all coming to yours for Christmas', and we were like 'uh, okay!'

"I was like 'you can cook though yeah?' and she said 'nah I'm coming to you for a break!'"
