Weeks after Logan Paul called out Floyd Mayweather for refusing to pay up what the boxer owed him, Mayweather is being hit with a lawsuit related to the exhibition match. An investor is seeking more than $5.8 million that he alleges Mayweather has refused to pay after he invested in the fight.
Mayweather made $10 million just to show up to his fight against Paul, and in total, he pocketed over $100 million from last summer’s match. The match lasted 8 rounds, and the two agreed that there would be no winner.

A real estate investor has accused the boxer of refusing to pay him what he claims the boxer owes him for investing in the boxing match last year. The investor’s company is now taking the boxer to court over unpaid bills and is seeking $5.6 million from Mayweather and his manager. According to the court documents, that number could reach as high as $15 million if additional defendants join the case.
The boxer allegedly got several people to spend over $1.4million on tickets to the event, to later sell at a profit. But instead of paying back investors, Mayweather and his manager took the cash and reinvested it into another fight without his consent.
They also claim that they didn’t see any of the profits that many outlets estimated to be more than $5 million.

In 2018, theSecurities and Exchange Commission charged Mayweather for pumping another coin. He was able to reach a settlement that required him to pay over $600,000 but didn’t have to admit any wrongdoing.
