A woman’s partner had Brits giggling after sharing her disastrous attempt to make toad-in-the-hole.
The poor cook had attempted to make the classic British dish which is made from sausages cooked in a Yorkshire pudding.
But, sadly for her the batter didn’t rise and she wound up with a sausage pancake instead.
Posting the sad snap of a slice of Yorkshire pud with two bangers on the top on Reddit, the bloke said: “Avert your eyes…let me present my girlfriends whole-hearted take on toad in the hole, bless her.”
Over 7,000 people liked the snap and more than 500 commented.
Luckily, many of them aimed to help the man’s girlfriend make a successful toad-in-the-hole.
One kind poster noted: “Tell her to have a much hotter oven next time, and have the dish smoking hot before she puts the batter in.”

“100% looks like self raising flour was used,” commented another.
A third added: “Tell her to turn the oven on next time,” to which another replied: “And not to open the oven door while the batter's rising!”
A handy cook commented: “It’s also important to make sure the batter stands for at least half and hour to soak properly, gives a much fluffier texture in my opinion.”
One keen Brit suggested crumbling a Knorr stock pot into the Yorkshire pudding batter for extra flavour.

Other people were less kind and insulted the disappointing dish.
One joked: “I would pack your bags she clearly hates you,” while another noted: “Log in a bog more like.”
Another exclaimed: “Kill it before it lays eggs, it’s an abomination,” and a poster noted: “Toad in the pancake then.”
“Bangers and trash,” laughed another.
