Our monarch has faced a challenging start to her Platinum Jubilee year.
From her positive Covid test to Prince Andrew’s eye-watering settlement, the Queen has had a turbulent 2022.
Sadly, one expert says her troubles aren’t over yet.
Former BBC royal correspondent Peter Hunt told the PA news agency: “So far, it’s been a year of considerable challenge rather than celebration.
“The Queen is noticeably frailer. Prince Charles is likely to be interviewed as part of a criminal investigation into an alleged cash for honours scandal and Prince Andrew is paying millions of pounds to a woman he says he has no recollection of ever meeting.
“These are problems for the monarchy that won't just disappear overnight.”

While the Queen recovers at Windsor Castle, her grandson Prince Harry is gearing up to publish his explosive tell-all memoir.
He’s also suing Her Majesty’s Government over a decision to block him from paying for police protection while visiting the UK.
Thankfully, she can rely on Prince William and Kate Middleton to keep the monarchy on a steady footing.
Kate embarked a successful solo-trip to Denmark this week, cooing at babies and even enjoying a ride on a slide.
Prince William, meanwhile, has been dubbed a ‘very active component’ within the Firm.
The Duke of Cambridge is said to enjoy frequent contact with the Queen now that Prince Philip is sadly absent.
It’s thought that he, along with Prince Charles, has stepped in to consult on matters when the Queen requires.
Royal historian Robert Lacey told US magazine People of William’s consulting role: “They operate together – not as equals, because the Queen remains in charge – but William is a very active component in the way the monarchy protects itself.”
Mr Lacey’s comments come after Her Majesty was forced to miss more engagements due to her Covid symptoms.
But she remained well enough to hold her weekly phone call with Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Her Platinum Jubilee celebrations will take place over four days from Friday June 3, featuring the Big Jubilee Lunch, a huge concert at Buckingham Palace and a Jubilee Pageant.

Trooping the Colour is also set to take place, with a spectacular RAF fly-past above the capital.
It’s the first time we’ll see the royals stand together on Buckingham Palace’s balcony since 2019 – but Prince Andrew may be missing.
Royal commentator Nigel Cawthorne told the Express: “Given the important role of Charles and William, it is very unlikely that he [Andrew] will be seen anywhere during the celebrations.
“There would be many opportunities for the prince’s accusers to embarrass him and thereby undermine the festivities.”
