Love Island is officially over for another series, and Jess Harding, Whitney Adebayo, Ella Thomas and Molly Marsh all made it to the final last night, with Jess ultimately being crowned the winner after coupling up with Sammy Root.
Although there was still plenty of drama, the final episode was all about the contestants getting glammed up and attending the villa’s Love Island prom, before donning their final head-turning looks of the season to await the results of the public vote.
Each of the girls fully committed to their last looks, with a series of gorgeous gowns that they teamed with flawless makeup to make sure they made a lasting impression.
All season long we’ve been coveting the girls’ glam, from Molly’s red lip to Whitney’s glossy legs, but for the final episode, it was only right that they went all out with a series of flawless makeup looks.
Although there were plenty of different products that went into each of their beauty regimes, we’ve unearthed the hero item behind each of the girls’ final episode makeup routines so you can recreate them at home.
Jess’s glossy lips
Although she opted for soft, natural-looking makeup to go with her stunning white satin dress, winner Jess made sure all the focus was on her lips for her final appearance on the show.
Pairing her bronzed skin and subtle smokey eye with a nude lip, Jess added a slick of the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminzer,£15.30 here, to draw all the attention to her pout.
It plumps up your lips for a fuller effect, whilst shea butter helps moisturise and enrich them. The gloss was created by Rihanna herself, saying: “I made it because I wanted the girls to get kissed more,” – what could be more perfect for the final of Love Island?
Whitney’s Sky High Lashes
Runner-up Whitney opted for a more sultry effect with her makeup, pairing a red lipstick with a deep red liner, and a dramatic cat eye for an old-school Hollywood glamour effect.
To complete her classic glam, Whitney added some false lashes to create a soft fluttery effect, just like the Boots Volume Style Delilah, £5 here, which add depth to your lashes and help open up your eyes and are handmade for a stunning, natural look.
Ella’s Smokey Eye
Although usually a fan of nude-toned natural makeup, Ella stepped her signature look up a notch for the final, pairing her go-to nude lips and glowing skin with a sultry smokey eye with dramatic winged eyeliner.
To create her bronzed look, a palette like the Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette Medium, £23.20 here, has everything you need to layer shades for a bold look. Mixing mattes with shimmers, and a selection of warm-toned browns, coppers and golds helps to create a bronzed, glowy look that’s perfect for a memorable evening.
Molly’s Chiseled Cheeks
Although Molly has been known to choose a bold red lip from time to time, for the final epsiode she opted for a softer, more natural look that included a rosy pink lip colour and glittering gold eyeshadow.
The romantic, feminine look suited Molly’s classic flapper-style dress, and she polished off her look with the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Skinstick, £19.55 here, that combines a contour and concealer in one to help lighten and brighten your face. Molly used hers to help highlight where light would naturally reflect to create a subtle chiseled look.
