It was a riot of colour today as fashionable racing fans stepped out in all their finery – including stylish two-pieces and figure-hugging dresses.

While some opted for slinky silk dresses which they paired with sky-high stiletto heels, others donned neon mini frocks to display their toned legs.

Many donned outfits in vibrant hues of pinks and oranges, while some opted for more neutral colours or floral patterns.

Other racegoers sported bodycon dresses in a rainbow of shades, increasing the glamour with bouncy blowdrys, fake tans and lashings of mascara and false eyelashes.

The dress code at Cork racecourse is ‘smart-casual’, while no fancy dress is allowed.
