Goggleboxs Paige Deville shares ‘best ever’ £4 dupe for White Company hand care duo

If you love luxury hand wash but don’t like the expensive price tag, then you’ll be pleased to know that ex- Gogglebox star Paige Deville has shared a budget alternative to The White Company’s popular Seychelles Hand Wash Set – with a price difference of over £24.

In a post shared to her Instagram Stories, Paige, 25, claims that Aldi’s Paradise Hand Wash & Lotion Set, £3.98 here, is the perfect “dupe” for The White Company’s original, which instead will set you back a whopping£28 here.

“For all my bargain hunters. The best dupe ever,” Paige writes on her post.

The former Googlebox star, who left the popular TV show last year due to afallout with her mum and co-star Sally, shared images of both hand wash duos on her Stories. At first glance they do look strikingly similar – but what about the scent?

Although The White Company’s set comes with a higher price tag, Aldi’s purse-friendly version shares the exact same top notes of bergamot, amber and vanilla.

Paige isn’t the only fan of the bargain alternative either. According to reviews on Aldi’s website, shoppers claim the supermarket version is “just like” or even “better” than the high-end original, raking in tons of five star reviews.

“Love this so much,” one person writes. “It’s just like The White Company but a fraction of the price and smells divine just like the Seychelles. I purchased many bottles and also the shower gel. I have sensitive skin and it didn’t affect my skin at all.”

Another shopper agrees, writing: “Smells EXACTLY like WC. For a smidgen of the price. I bought 2 lots.”

“Smells lovely. I think better than The White Company,” a third adds.

Unfortunately the set is currently out of stock on Aldi’s website at the moment, but it’s worth checking your local store. And if you’re on the hunt for another luxury dupe that you CAN currently buy online, it’s worth checking out Aldi’s Pomegranate Hand Wash & Lotion Set, £4.98 here.

Shoppers on the supermarket’s website are comparing it to another high-end brand, claiming it’s an exact dupe for Jo Malone London’s Pomegranate Noir Body & Hand Wash,£32 here.

One review wrote: “Well, we all know this is a dupe for Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir, and I have to say it’s great! Visitors to my house who have gone to the bathroom to wash hands ALL comment on it! It’s really a beautiful scented soap and I love it.”

“I generally buy the very much more expensive brand but to be honest Aldi’s version smells the same. Why spend more money,” another person says.
