  • Will be available via an online competition on the brands’ social media channels

As far as odd food combinations go, Heinz and Terry’s Chocolate Orange seem determined to take the crown with a new Christmas offering.

The British-loved brands have combined their tasty treats to create a chocolate orange mayonnaise, claiming it’ll be the ‘festive mash up that you didn’t know you needed until now’.

Heinz [Seriously] Good Terry’s Chocolate Orange Mayo will only have 200 available across the UK from today, which will be obtainable via an online competition on the brands’ social media channels.

The rich concoction has been created by blending Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise with melted Terry’s Chocolate Orange segments, Crème Patissière and an extra dose of Terry’s Chocolate Orange’s signature real orange oil.

The result is a smooth and delicious spread that works perfectly dolloped onto your festive desserts or spread onto brioche, crumpets, pancakes, or croissants this season, claim the companies.

Jars are sized at 480ml and to keep the spread at its best, it should be refrigerated and used within two days of opening.

Maria Jantchi, Sauces Senior Brand Manager, Heinz, said: ‘Here at Heinz, we are always innovating, and love creating fun new limited-edition products that we know our fans will love.
