Holly Willoughby teases cute home feature shes planned for beloved dog Bailey

Holly Willoughbyis a proud pet owner and often takes to Instagram to show off her beloved dog Bailey and cat Bluebell.

TheThis Morninghost, 41, who is currently enjoying a well deserved break from her presenting duties, has previously taken her golden retriever with her onto the ITV show – much to the delight of viewers.

The Willoughby familywelcomed Bailey into their lives last yearafter Holly admitted her daughter Belle persuaded her to get a dog.

Now that Bailey has become part of the family, Holly revealed that she may be making some home improvements to cater for her pooch.

She shared a clip of two dogs putting their eyes and noses through peep holes to look through a wooden fence as their owner returned home – with the dogs awaiting interaction.

Holly wrote alongside the clip: "Definitely making this for Bailey." And in a subsequent post about the idea she included a gif of a dog laughing.

Holly lives with her husband Dan Baldwin, 47, and their three children; Harry, 13, Belle, 11, Chester, seven.


Holly introduced Bailey to viewers of the ITV show a few weeks after welcoming her into the family, with the dog joining the presenter and Phillip Schofield one morning.

The four-legged guest sat alongside the pair on the sofa, with Holly saying to viewers: "I'm delighted to introduce you to the newest member of my family. This is Bailey."

When the family got Bailey, Holly took to her lifestyle brand website to share her happy news with fans.

"Bailey came into our life this month and has changed everything," Holly explained in the November 2021 edition ofWylde Moon.

The star explained that her daughter had a massive influence in the new pup being added to the family.

Holly wrote: "My daughter has been campaigning for us to get a dog since she was able to talk, and we have been waiting for the right time for a dog to fit into our family life."

She added: "Now, is that time. This little ball of scrumptious energy bounded into our world and immediately made us question why on earth we have waited so long."

The ITV presenter added: "She’s been brilliant for getting us all out of the house, going on long walks and playing in the garden.

"During lockdown, the kids gravitated to being on screens more than normal, but Bailey has come in and pushed a giant paw-shaped, reset button for all us…and of course we are completely in love.”
