Luckily, garden experts have scoured through TikTok to find the latest viral trends, and how to build them for less than £100.

Whether you want a total garden revamp or just looking to add the finishing touches, here’s how to build the latest trends.

According to gardening experts at Rated People, greenhouses, fire pits and pergolas are among the latest must-have garden accessories. 

Greenhouses has gained over 8m views on the and takes top place for the most popular gardening accessory. 

Over 7m people have searched for fire pits, a popular garden feature to light up your porch. 

Pergolas takes third spot gaining 5.2m views from people looking to transform their outdoor space.

The figures reveal more people are looking to expand their outdoor spaces with popular entertainment features. 

Outdoor kitchens received an impressive 285.8m views and water features took fifth position with 119.1m views.

Further down the list TikToker’s have shown interest in outdoor cinemas and patios to renovate their gardens. 

How to create TiTok’s greenhouse trend

To avoid enviously scrolling on TikTok at other people’s gardens, experts have revealed how to build your own cost-effective versions of the top five trends.

Some people might assume greenhouses are out of their budget, but gardeners at Rated People say they don’t  have to be so expensive. 

‘If you don’t have the space or budget to buy a brand-new large glass greenhouse, you can find second-hand bargains on places like Facebook marketplace or Ebay, 

‘Or you can start a bit smaller and opt for a growhouse or cold frame,’ they said.

Growhouses can be found at Aldi for just £34.99. 

For anyone looking to make their own fruit and veg, secondhand greenhouses can be found on Facebook marketplace

Pergola’s are also a popular trend, the passageway is a great feature to add to your land and can be made from unused garden materials

How to build your own firepit

For those sceptical of investing in an expensive fireplace, experts suggest building your own. 

‘It’s really easy to build your own firepit with standard clay bricks stacked on top of each other and gravel for the base, you can buy bricks for less than £2.’

There are various fire pit-making tutorials to watch online if you’re not a qualified builder.

How to build a pergola

Building your own pergola is another great way to save money, the experts suggest using existing structures in your garden such as fences or walls to reduce the amount of wood you need. 

Once you’ve started your structure, pergola support posts and rafter rails can be found online for less than £20. 

How to build an outdoor kitchen

Over 285m people have searched for outdoor kitchen inspiration, while these can be expensive to buy, building them yourself is a cost-effective method

An outdoor kitchen is another cheap DIY project, experts suggest the easiest way: ‘is to build it around a BBQ, using bricks for the sides and placing a second-hand kitchen work surface to the side for food prep.

‘Or, you can reuse wood from pallets to create a wall-mounted serving area.’

How to build a water feature 

Finally, experts suggest building your own water feature for as little as £10 as a great way to save money.

To start building you can use old plant plots and pebbles and a solar powered fountain pump which can be purchased from Amazon, there are various online guides to turn to if you get stuck.
