‘I got told I look good for my age – I don’t understand why because I’m 23’

When you hit a certain age, being told you look good can be a huge compliment.

But when you're still young being told that can be a bit confusing – which is exactly what happened to a 23-year-old woman on TikTok when she answered the door to a delivery driver.

T Swirls, who posts on the app as @t.swirls3rdaccount, shared a video of herself in a baggy jumper with no makeup on claiming she was confused by comments she'd just had about her appearance.

In the clip, which has gained more than 667,000 likes, she said: "The UPS driver just dropped off my package and I went out to sign for it and he told me that I look good for my age.

"He also said 'ma'am' – he said 'ma'am you look good for your age.' I don't know what that is supposed to mean because I'm 23."

Dozens of viewers commented their thoughts, with one cruelly writing: "Ma’am respectfully the vibe is 35."

Another said: "I never would have guessed 23."

A third loved her look, saying:"Why would you listen to what a man says? Girl your stunning," a viewer asked.

"You have a great sense of style," someone else wrote. Don’t worry about your age or what it’s perceived to be by others."

A third wrote: "He shouldn’t be commenting on your appearance period."
