I might sound pervy, writes JANA HOCKING, but these are the bizarre everyday things that make men ‘irresistible’ – and all women will agree
- Jana Hocking can’t get enough of men in grey tracksuit pants
- She also loves men in tailored suits and those who read on public transport
The other night my current crush-of-the-moment sent me a pic of himself at his kid’s soccer practice. He’s the coach – which on its own is a VERY attractive trait – but there was one particular part of the picture that left me very hot and bothered.
He was wearing grey track pants. Now if you haven’t heard of this slightly pervy phenomenon, do yourself a favour and take a little peak at TikTok right now because it’s getting all the women horny!
It’s called ‘grey sweatpants season’ and thankfully it’s winter in Australia right now so we’re surrounded by glorious hot, sweaty men donning their finest grey sweatpants for their early morning jog or visit to the gym.
By now you’re probably scratching your heads and thinking why do they have to be GREY sweatpants – and I’m slightly ashamed of the answer. Basically it’s because they best outline a man’s package. Yes, he’s schlong. His manhood. His Anaconda. You get the picture.
In fact, I would go as far as saying the grey sweat pants accentuate their ol’ fella. Could it be the equivalent of a women’s push up bra? Perhaps.
Jana Hocking says men in grey tracksuit pants are one of the biggest turn ons for a woman

Just like men appreciate some fine cleavage, we women don’t mind seeing an outline of what a man is packing under his shorts.
But don’t just take my word for it, there’s even some psychology behind this strange phenomenon. Recent studies revealed that we womenfolk are attracted to men who seem confident and comfy in their own skin. Hence grey track pants can make a guy appear relaxed, chilled and not trying too hard. Va va voom!
But grey trackpants aren’t the only weird thing that turns us on. Oh no. Chatting with my girlfriends the other night (after a few wines) we collated a list of weird things men do that we find a massive turn on. Seriously, they have no idea how hot and sweaty it gets us.
This includes:
Hairy (yet neat) eyebrows
Listen the heart wants what the heart wants, and for many women (myself definitely included!) it is a deep furrowed brow. It comes across as both cheeky and serious.
Think George Clooney, Zayn, Chris Pine, heck even Eugene Levy. A good hairy, yet manicured brow will get me swooning any day of the week.

Talking on a work phone call or zoom chat
There’s something super sexy about listening to your man conducting business. Especially if he is calling the shots.
My lockdown bubble buddy would conduct zoom meetings while I was in the same room and by the end of the meeting I wanted to rip his clothes off.
Similarly, I had an ex-boyfriend who would take work calls when we were in the car. His bossy tone and directness was something I then wanted him to then bring to the bedroom. Yes sir!
Guys in tailored suits
The other day I was walking through a certain part of Sydney where all the lawyers have offices (Martin place for those that want to play along) and I noticed I was surrounded by men not just in suits, oh no. They were in tailored suits!
For some unfair reason, men have been blessed with perky butts – and a tailored suit really shows it off in its best light. So go ahead and spend that extra cash on getting your suits measured to fit gents. It will certainly pay off.
Reading a book on a train
A few years ago there was a super popular Instagram account dedicated to hot guys reading books on trains.
It was literally called @hotdudesreadingontrains which for some sad reason has been taken down. I guessing it’s probably because it’s slightly weird to take pics of guys without their consent and then posting them online.
However, it really exploded with likes when it was up. Why? Because like the title says, it’s REALLY hot watching a guy get lost in a book.

It’s very caveman-like and it drives our pheromones crazy! Just don’t take it too literally. A hint of BO is quite hot, but not enough to completely pong us out. Lynx Africa is still your friend lads.
So, forget watching guys playing with dogs or holding babies. Gents, grab yourself a book, or some grey trackpants, take a call or go for a sweaty jog around the block. Because we can’t get enough of it!
