Influencer Sophie Lait has been praised for one of her latest body positivity snaps.
The fitness trainer took to her Instagram page to share a completely naked photo of her body as she told fans they're not less sexy if they have a belly.
Sophie, who is often seen posing nude or in gym wear or lingerie, took a mirror selfie of her curves as she flaunted them to her 125,000 followers.
However, she managed to contain her blushes, thanks to some clever hand placement and angles.
As her body was seen in the mirror, Sophie has written around it: "You are not less sexy for having a belly."
She continued her message in the caption, as she wrote: "For my entire teenage & adult life I have always believed that my likability was based on how my body looked.
"It depended on how flat my stomach was & how smooth my legs were… but the sadness that was attached to the constant chasing of these things was suffocating.
"We have been led to believe that having a belly means we’ve failed. We haven’t."
The social media star continued: "I have had a lot of wholesome chats with my mum recently (who, may I add is a frikkin powerhouse of a woman) about how her actions towards herself impacted me more than she knew when I was growing up.
"The fact that she went on a diet, I would feel like (at 14) needed to diet.
"If my mum felt self conscious about her body then I felt self conscious about mine. Because, if my mum (a beautiful woman) felt unworthy in her skin then I had no right to feel confident in mine.
"As I got older I started seeing other women embracing their bodies… but they had BELLIES, CELLULITE… STRETCH MARKS!! I couldn’t believe it! I was so shocked! Was I “allowed” to embrace these aspects of my body? These other women were!!
"I know now that insecurities stem from a huge variety of things – celebrities, magazines, movies, adverts and so much more! What was really sad was that my mum had also been sucked into the toxic realm of diet culture, much like I had, and that made me so so so mad!!!
"Even when I was at my thinnest, I never felt thin enough. We are all trying our best and putting our bodies through more emotional stress but constantly worrying what we look like is not a fun experience trust me … I know.
"I’m sending you a big dollop of love in case you need it today babe. You’re doing amazing."
The post racked up more than 14,000 likes as many spoke out to praise Sophie for the honest message.
One told her: "I love the picture, but I love the caption more. I had a cry. So relatable."
While another added: "Thank you for this!"
A third chimed in: "I feel this about everyone else, but not about myself. I'll keep working at it…"
