Inside all-white home compared to ‘serial killer’s lair’ on the market for £500k

A home has just gone on the market for £500,000 but it looks rather unusual when you step inside.

The four-bedroom property boasts three garages with two parking spots so you'll never stress about where to leave your car.

Located in Gateshead, south of Newcastle, the spacious home also comes with three bathrooms too.

But although it looks fairly normal from the outside, it's once you step indoors that's got a lot of people talking.

The interior is all white so it might feel like things are a little bit bright if you do live here.

If you head to the kitchen, you'll find it's filled with high-tech gadgets although there isn't a window in sight.

The cooking area has a very futuristic vibe which also carries on throughout the home once you walk up the stainless steel stairs.

Inside the bathroom it comes with a basic toilet that many social media users fear might be too uncomfortable.

Meanwhile, the all-white living room features a huge TV, electric fire and a sleek white sofa (of course).

Throughout the unusual property you might find the small circular windows and door resemble a space station.

In another living room, if you fancy a workout there is gym equipment set up in front of yet another white sofa.

But if you look closely you might find a splash of colour with some funky red pillows offsetting the neutral design.

Then once you head to the next bathroom, you'll find two toilets side-by-side and dual showers around the corner.

However the private roof terrace does promise some stunning views which is different to the interior of the property.

The four-bedroom home is currently listed on Rightmove with agents Belle Vue Estate creating a video to show off the unique design.

The ad said online: "Having an extremely individual design, this home will take you on a spectacular tour of wonder and amazement.

"The unique home boasts a touch of luxury and privacy whilst keeping many original and industrial features from its heritage and past.

"Formally the Co-op stores dating back to 1900 and serving the local community for many years."

Since images circulated on social media, the property has been compared to many things like a morgue, a serial killer's home and something from "American Pyscho".

One prospective buyer said: "Found it. The most awfully designed house I've ever seen."

Meanwhile a second bluntly commented: "This futuristic serial killer's lair is up for sale and making the rounds of the internet."
