Inside Amanda Holden’s amazing peacock-inspired Christmas doorway at family home

Amanda Holden has given a glimpse inside her stunning peacock-inspired Christmas doorway at her sprawling family home.

The Heart Radio presenter, 50, who has vowed to still look good at 95 as she discussed her beauty secrets, shared a sneak peek of her 'door to die for' as she enlisted the help of the popular Early Hours Ltd team to transform the entrance to her home.

Amanda, who shares Alexa, 15, and Hollie, nine, with husband Chris Hughes, re-shared a reel of the transformation to her 1.8million Instagram followers, captioned: "Our beautiful door decorated by the hugely talented @earlyhoursltd."

The Britain's Got Talent judge has opted for a theme of dark blue, purple and green baubles to surround her doorway and the team have weaved peacock feathers through the archway to create a stunning effect.

Meanwhile Amanda also has two wreaths in the same hue to complement the stunning installation that is sure to catch the eye of everyone who visits over the festive season.

The talented team have also added pine branches for a traditional Christmas feel along with ribbons and flowers for a delicate touch.

Elsewhere Amanda has continued the midnight blue theme inside her home as she posed with her gorgeous tree to her 1.8million Instagram followers.

The blonde beauty has a huge faux tree with a large blue ribbon threaded through the branches along with a feather crown for a luxurious effect.

It comes after Amanda revealed that she loves hearing how great she looks for her age and is thrilled when she gets compliments about how she seems to be ageing backwards.

“I have been called Mandy Button in the past, which is such a flattering thing! It’s brilliant," she tells us, at an interview to mark her being signed up as the new face of Charles Worthington London.

“I don’t think I look 50 but I don’t think I look 30. I just like people saying I look good for my age and that’s how I’d like it to continue regardless if I’m 60, 70, 80 or whatever. I’d like to be going I’m 95, you know!’” she laughed.

Amanda works hard for her youthful good looks, but certainly doesn’t lead a joyless, fun-free, fat-free existence. “I do look after myself, I run, I do yoga, I’m a vegetarian. But I do love a drink. I don’t deny myself anything,” she said.

“After lockdown and us all being denied our freedoms, I just think: 'Don’t deny yourself now, just enjoy life.' Everything in moderation, but if you want a glass of wine or a doughnut, have one. Life is too short. I’m not one of those 'all or nothing' people, I can’t live like that.”
