Catherine Tyldesley treated her son Alfie to an amazing birthday in lockdown complete with a giant cake and go-kart.
The former Coronation Street actress, 37, shared the Super Mario-themed birthday celebrations for six-year-old Alfie with her 630,000 Instagram followers on Friday.
Alfie looked very pleased as he posed next to his giant six balloon and Luigi character while the window was decked with birthday banners.

Catherine also shared a snap of Alfie reading his birthday cards on a beanbag and surrounded by his new colouring pencils and books.
Captioning the snaps to her social media, she penned: “Happy Birthday Alfie James!! Our funny little dude has had the BEST day!!
"Thank you for all messages, pressies, cards, thoughts, DMs! We’re feeling very blessed and grateful to have this incredible little gent in our lives. Here’s to a bloody big party next year!!”
And Alfie looked every inch the birthday boy as he posed behind the wheel of his brand-new go-kart in their kitchen.
Meanwhile mum Catherine also revealed his amazing two-tier birthday cake which was decorated with cartoon characters and a huge red number six.
The actress, who shares Alfie with husband Tom Pitfield, also took a trip down memory lane as she shared pictures of her bump while carrying her son.
Captioning the series of bump pictures and her 38-hour pregnancy, she wrote: “REFLECTING: This time 6 years ago things were about to get very intense!!! I can’t believe my boy Alf will be SIX tomorrow!!!
“Where does time go?! From the moment I knew I was carrying you I loved you more than anything in the world. I’d happily go through that 38-hour labour twice over for you my love!!
“I remember the first time you looked at me – blowing bubbles, eyes wide open – I’ve never known love like it."
She continued: “I’m aware how blessed I am every single day, blessed that my body could carry you, blessed by the amazing NHS midwives that brought you safely into this world, blessed by all the friends and family that held my hand when I couldn’t stop crying and felt lost.
