Inside Charlotte Church’s £2.5million South Wales home with secret bookcase door

The star, 35, came runner-up to Natalie Imbruglia on the hit ITV show, and she's now set to sit down with Kate Garraway for an in-depth interview on Life Stories, which will air on Thursday 17 February.

Charlotte, who is in the process of transforming a £1.5m mansion into a wellness retreat, will open up to Kate about her career and rise to fame, as well as her family life.

The Welsh singer is currently married to fellow musician Johnny Powell, who she shares one year old daughter Freda with.

Charlotte's gorgeous abode is located in Dinas Powys, near Wales' capital, and is reportedly worth around £2.5million.

The singer occasionally shares a peek inside her home over on Instagram, and it features some extremely stylish decor.

Charlotte's open plan dining area is arguably one of the most impressive rooms in her home, with it featuring a glass roof and rustic tile flooring.

A huge wooden dining table sits in the centre of the room, surrounded by eight leather chairs.

The entire space is littered with houseplants, with multiple plants hanging from the ceiling and one placed in the centre of the dining table, with Charlotte previously branding the room her "home jungle".

A dark blue and gold mirror is situated on the back wall, and there's also doors leading out into Charlotte's sprawling garden.

The star's garden also features some quirky furniture, and during last summer Charlotte posted a snap of two bright pink sun loungers located in one corner of the garden.

The chairs are decorated with patterned scatter cushions and a small side table has been placed in between them, creating the perfect spot to relax in the sun.

Charlotte has previously shared photos of her garden as she shows off her collection of stunning flowers.

One of the quirkiest features of Charlotte's family home is the door which leads through into the living room.

An enormous dark wooden bookcase acts as a door, and is unnoticeable unless opened.

The mum of three previously shared footage of the incredible door, telling her followers: "Who says magic isn't real? The secret bookcase to my living room".

The door opens to reveal Charlotte's spacious lounge, which is painted cream and white.

One wall has been decorated with stylish patterned wallpaper, and a large velvet sofa sits in the centre of the space.

Two posters hang on the back wall, and houseplants are scattered around the room.

Charlotte's two adorable pet dogs can be seen lounging around in the video, which also shows a huge white storage trunk tucked away in one corner.

A brown wooden coffee table and large armchair have been placed in front of the bookcase, and an acoustic guitar is also on display.

Kate Garraway's Life Stories: Charlotte Church airs on Thursday 17 February on ITV at 9pm.
