Just days after being dumped from the Love Island villa in a brutal double dumping that saw two couples leave the show, Claudia Fogarty was welcomed home in style as she reunited with her family after failing to find love in South Africa.
Documenting the reunion on Instagram, Claudia, who underwent a huge transformation ahead of her stint on the show, was greeted with a vast array of lavish decorations in a bright pink hue, including plenty of balloons in various shades of the romantic colour and a heartfelt ‘Welcome Home’ banner adorning the wall.
In addition, Claudia was also treated to a stunning bouquet filled with various pink and peachy toned flowers, including a selection of delicate roses.

Yet it was one gift in particular that got many fans talking, a cheeky pink iced cake courtesy of her older sister Danielle Fogarty.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday morning, the reality star's older sister Danielle – who announced just days after Claudia entered the villa that she's expecting second child with husband Ross Worswick – shared a snap of a rib-tickling welcome home cake that she intended to present to Claudia.
The lavish-looking multi-layered desert, which featured pink and yellow frilled buttercream frosting and numerous edible baubles, made a hilarious Love Island quote its centrepiece.
In baby pink fondant icing were the words "You can't have your cake + eat it", the worlds Claudia told her ex on-screen beau Casey O'Gormon during the recent Snog, Marry, Pie challenge after he ditched her for newbie Rosie Seabrook.
"You can’t have your cake and eat it and I will be no-one’s option," she told her former flame before leaving audiences with jaws-dropped by brutally launching a huge cream pie into his face.
Tongue in cheek joke aside, there was no denying the visible relief in Claudia’s body language as she returned home to her mum and sister.
Dressed in matching pink pyjamas both mum Michaela and sister Danielle couldn’t contain their excitement as they ran over the newly returned star, before pulling her into a warm and long overdue embrace after spending so much time apart.
Clearly glad to be home, Claudia later went on to tell her fans on social media that she would be spending today with her family as she enjoyed a lowkey return to reality before appearing on tomorrow’s edition of AfterSun.
“Hi everyone, I just wanted to say a quick thank you to you all for such amazing support. Honestly like the messages, the love I’ve had, it’s just been unreal,” she told her followers before reflecting on her time in the villa.
“I have had the most amazing experience in there. It’s been hard. But it’s the best thing I’ve ever done,” she continued. “ I just wanted to say a massive thank you, it really does mean the world.”
Admitting she was happy to be homed, Claudia then added: “I’m happy to be home. Happy to be back with the family so I’m going to take some time today to just be with them, see my friends and just try and get back to normal a bit.”
