Inside Mark's dating history
Mark met actress Siobhan Finneran in the late 1980s, and the pair became friends before falling for one another. Siobhan is best known for roles in Benidorm, Happy Valley, and Hollyoaks.
Mark and Siobhan, 55, tied the knot in 1997, with the couple welcomed two children together, Joseph, 24, and Poppy, 21. Their marriage lasted for around 17 years, before they announced they had split in 2014.
During the same year, Mark joined the cast of ITV soap Emmerdale, as character Daz Spencer.
It was during his short soap stint that he met Laura Norton, who portrays Kelly Wyatt on the show. Laura, 38, and Mark hit it off, and soon fell in love.
The couple have now been together for over five years, and are engaged to be married. They welcomed their first child together in 2021, a son named Jesse.
The baby came as a surprise to Mark and Laura, who were planning their dream wedding in 2020 when they found out they were expecting their first child together.
Their wedding plans were put on hold as they prepared to welcome their son, who is now 10 months old.
The Emmerdale co-stars revealed the news in an exclusive interview with OK!, where they gushed over the surprise arrival, with Mark saying: "In my heart I knew before looking at the test. We both looked at the result and there was so much joy, but for a weird moment we were both deadly silent. Time stood still while we took it in with smiles on our faces."
Laura then added: "I had tears in my eyes. We’re over the moon."
Mark and Laura regularly share snaps of their family life to Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into their life away from the cameras at their North Yorkshire home.
