Kadeena Cox was born in Leeds back in 1991, and is now 30 years old.

Despite being multiple gold-medallist at the Olympics, Kadeena also obtained a degree whilst training for both of her sports.

She attended Leeds University where she graduated with a degree in sports science, before heading to Manchester University and qualifying as a physiotherapist.

Kadeena's parents are both Jamaican immigrants who moved to the UK as youngsters, raising a big brood up in Leeds, where they still live today.

The star grew up in a very busy household, as her father Asmond Cox has three daughters from a previous relationship, and her mum Jasmin Williams-Cox also has two daughters from an ex-partner.

They then went on to marry and have Kadeena and a number of other children together.

The Cox family are all incredibly close and are practicing Christians, something which Kadeena frequently posts about.

Multiple TikTok videos show the paralympian talk about her faith, poking fun at those who state she "doesn't look like a Christian".

In a recent interview with i news, both Asmond, 53, and Jasmin spoke of their daughter's childhood and how Kadeena was always "really active", getting involved in multiple different sports whilst at school.

Speaking about her recent wins at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, mum Jasmin said: "Kadeena is very determined and strong willed and we are here now with her achievements in Tokyo because she never gave up.

"What she was like as a tiny child on a bike is what she is like now. She gets straight back up."

Kadeena is incredible successful in her sporting field and is also a talented chef, as she won Celebrity Masterchef in 2021, beating out Megan McKenna and Joe Swash to the crown.

The star is currently single, but regularly posts about looking forward to the day she finds a Christian man who loves God as much as she does.

Kadeena also practices celibacy and has made multiple TikTok videos about it, stating that she believes in marriage before any kind of sexual intercourse.

One video saw the star dancing to Justin Bieber's 'Holy', as she wrote "I cam't wait for bible studies, devotionals, prayer time and a family man to give me the best cuddles".

Though Kadeena technically lives alone, she does have a dog to keep her company – her adorable miniature Dachshund named Mini.

Dad Asmond told i news that: "Having Mini really helped" Kadeena throughout lockdown "as it gave her something to interact with and take on walks.

"It gave her support and sanity".
