Two-time Olympic champion Helen Glover has given us a glimpse into her family home that she shares with her husband, Steve Backshall, 48, and their three children, Logan, three, and twins Kit and Willow, both one.

The 35-year-old is currently competing at this year's Olympics in Tokyo, rowing for Team GB, with her rowing partner Polly Swann.

On Saturday the pair came third in the women’s rowing, giving them a spot in the semi finals, which will take place tomorrow (Tuesday), where Helen is hoping to take home her third gold medal.

But when Helen isn’t competing in the water she can be found at her gorgeous home in Berkshire, with its own dockside balcony and fabulous view of thames. We take a look inside…

The rower’s home looks cosy and comfy, with a real ‘family’ vibe.

Inside the living room there’s a large snuggly-looking grey sofa with a mixture of navy, grey and light blue cushions, where Helen and Steve both spend plenty of time snuggled up with their adorable three children (and even spend time lounging around on the floor too).

The room also features a windy wooden staircase and a big beautiful canvas painting, with an abstract design with many of shades of blues, yellows and browns.

Sharing the cutest picture of her dad with Willow on Instagram, we can get a small look into Helen’s kitchen too.

The room features white glossy units with black marble surfaces, with a microwave built into the wall and it’s fair to say either Helen or Steve enjoy a spot of cooking as there’s lots of different oil bottles and utensils on the side.

Clearly, there’s also a table in the room as Helen’s dad is sat down at it, but sadly we can’t really see what that looks like.

The garden, which Helen likes to share lots of snaps of on her Instagram (and we don’t blame her), is arguably the best spot in the family’s home as it’s situated right next to the riverside, with the most breathtaking views.

In a photo Helen shared doing a media interview outside, we can see the garden is fairly big, with a little brown fence running around it to keep the children safe from the water.

In another corner of the garden is a little wendy house for the children to play in, a turtle sandpit as well as a rowing machine, which Helen uses to keep fit and get some extra practice in before she headed off to Tokyo.

Through the wooden gate the Berkshire home also has its own dockside, offering the most stunning views of the river, where the family like to enjoy fun days out on the water and Helen practices her rowing.

Of course the family spend plenty of time in the water too and do lots of rowing, kayaking and swimming.

Helen revealed in a post that she also likes to jump off the dock into the water for a swim once the kids are tucked up in bed.

With plenty of smiley snaps posted regularly on the rowers account there’s no doubt that there’s plenty of laughs and smiles all round in this household.

We can’t wait to see some cute photos of them all when Helen returns from Tokyo.
