Inside Tess Daly and Vernon Kay’s Christmas decorations with personalised baubles

Tess Daly has given a glimpse inside her traditional Christmas decorations at the home she shares with husband Vernon Kay.

The Strictly Come Dancing host, 52, who lives in a six-bedroom mansion in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire with former I'm A Celeb star Vernon, 47, and their two daughters Phoebe, 17, and Amber, 12, has shared a look at their beautiful Christmas tree.

Tess appeared in the Christmas spirit as she posed for a candid snap while decorating the tree in a Mickey Mouse jumper with her blonde locks in loose waves.

The mum-of-two revealed how the family take pride in putting decorations on the tree that they have collected over the years including personalised baubles.

Tess gave a close look at her tree which featured an assortment of coloured baubles including some personalised baubles with heartwarming meanings.

The Strictly presenter focused on a baby pink bauble and said: "Christmas has come early in our house, been decorating the tree, getting all the baubles out of storage! This one when our first child was born Phoebe – baby's first Christmas!"

She also shared a closer look at a Disney ornament and added: "We got this one as a wedding present 2003, poodles, baby's first Christmas Amber, and stuff the girls have made at school when they were little and we have saved them so cute!"

Tess was every inch the proud mum and she gave her followers a look at the handmade decorations that her girls had made at school.

Meanwhile Tess revealed how she and her daughters enlisted Vernon, who is 6"3, to place baubles on the top of the tree.

Captioning the snaps to her 788,000 Instagram followers, Tess penned: "The girls and I put the tree up last night (oh and we used Vernon for the ones at the top), so just put some finishing touches on today in my Christmas jumper!

"My favourite part of this time of year is getting out all of the decorations we’ve collected over the years that the girls have made at school, and the ones from their first Christmases! So cute, feeling festive, bring on the mince pies."
