Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have reportedly "split" after six years together after an incident which allegedly ended in the singer feuding with the model’s mother.
The former One Direction star is believed to have had an argument with Yolanda Hadid, with Zayn vehemently denying "striking" her.
In a statement, Zayn said he "agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago."

Gigi and Zayn first met in November 2015. Over the course of their nearly six-year romance, the couple has broken up three times: in June 2016, in March 2018, and January 2019
Following the end of Zayn’s engagement to Perrie Edwards and Gigi’s split from Joe Jonas, the couple met at an American Music Awards after-party in 2015.
In December of the same year, the pair made their relationship official when Zayn shared a now-deleted post showing off a black-and-white polaroid of the young couple.
In January 2016, Gigi starred in Zayn’s steamy video for his single Pillowtalk.
In May, the walked the red carpet of the Met Gala together, however, one month later they split for the first time.
A source told E News at the time: “Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It's all very unclear what's going on between them now. They've been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along."
They were back together one month later, and Gigi confirmed the news with a cute Instagram upload.
In March 2018, they broke up for a second time, and this time each confirmed the news.
Gigi shared: "Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years .. not only in the relationship, but in life in general.
"I'm forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever's meant to be will always be. xG."
Zayn also released a statement, saying: "Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend.
"She has such an incredible soul. I'm grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all. xZ."
Less than one month later the couple were pictured kissing in New York amid rumours Zayn was on a mission to get back together with Gigi.
However, in January 2019, the couple broke up for a third time.
During this split, Gigi had a brief rebound fling with reality star, Tyler Cameron.
They went on several dates in New York City and the reality star even attend Gigi's grandmother's funeral in the Netherlands that month.
By January 2020, it was clear that Gigi and Zayn were back on as they were spotted celebrated the singer's birthday in Manhattan.
In October and just weeks after her 25th birthday, it’s reported that Gigi is pregnant, news she confirmed in April.
"Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well-wishes and support," Gigi told Jimmy Kimmel on April 30, 2020.
In September 2020, their baby girl was born and the couple shared the happy news on Instagram.
"Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love," wrote Gigi.
Gigi and Zayn welcomed their daughter at home following a 14-hour labor. "It didn’t even click that she was out,” Gigi told the publication of Zayn catching the baby. “I was so exhausted, and I looked up and he’s holding her. It was so cute.”
Four months later, in January 2021, the model shared their daughter’s name for the first time, changing her Instagram bio to: "Khai's mom."
Zayn has vehemently denied the claims that he ‘struck’ Yolanda.
Meanwhile, Gigi’s sister Bella posted a cryptic message to Instagram.
She posted an illustration of a woman that came alongside the quote: “I can do nothing for you but work on myself. You can do nothing for me but work on yourself.”
Gigi shared a statement with People, saying: “Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time.”
