Internet baffled by woman’s ingenious technique for changing bed sheets

A woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing an ingenious hack for changing bed sheets in seconds, leaving viewers completely perplexed.

The lifestyle guru, who uses the handle @decoper on TikTok, offered a demonstration of the inventive technique in a clip played more than 8.4 million times.

As the young brunette reveals the hack, a voiceover in the background says: “Show me the life hack that you randomly saw one day that is now an unconscious standard practice in your life. I’ll go first.”

The five-step trick bypasses all the stuffing, tugging, and adjusting involved in changing duvet sheets, and it can be executed in a matter of seconds.

In the first step, the duvet cover lays flat on a double mattress, inside out, with the opening of the sheet facing the foot of the bed.

The comforter is then placed on top of the cover, making sure that all four corners are matched up and aligned with those of the sheet beneath.

Starting from the head of the bed, the duvet and sheet are held together and rolled up like a burrito all the way down to the foot of the bed.

Now, for the most complicated part; the opening of the duvet cover is flipped over each end of the burrito, thereby exposing the outside of the bed sheet.

The action should be repeated for both corners of the duvet, before the middle section is flipped over. The duvet is then unrolled or shaken out, revealing perfect results.

The clip left viewers completely baffled, with many exclaiming their disbelief in the comment section.

“No no no no no – no way,” wrote one commentator. “I need to try this because I’m tired of fighting for my life putting it together.”

Another confused viewer wrote: “I feel like I could watch this video 1000 times and still get it wrong.”

“I used to crawl into my duvet cover to put the comforter in, lol,” joked a third person.
