DEAR DEIDRE: AFTER 12 years together, I fear my relationship has run its course.
I am a 58-year-old man and my partner is 55. I hate to say it, but I find her boring.
Nothing has happened but the relationship has simply become stale.
There’s hardly any intimacy any more, and we have nothing to talk about.
We don’t have any children, so there is nothing tying us together.
It’s heartbreaking because we used to be so close and in love, but we’re definitely going in different directions.
She is all about our cats and staying in, whereas I just want to get out with the dogs.
Is there any way to stop us drifting apart or should I just give up and let the relationship go?
