DEAR DEIDRE: FOR as long as I can remember, I’ve had no sex drive. I am a man of 28 and struggle to get in the mood.
My girlfriend is 27 and we have been together for almost a year. She is gorgeous and I love her.
She accepts my low sex drive and doesn’t give me too much of a tough time, but I know deep down she would like to have sex more often.
I worry she will leave me if things don’t improve but I am struggling to fix it.
I am beginning to think there is something genuinely wrong.
I don’t think it is normal for someone of my age to have little to zero interest in sex.

DEIDRE SAYS: It is common to lose interest in sex from time to time and libido levels vary through life.
Over a long period of time it can be an indicator of an underlying health condition, such as reduced hormone levels, so do talk to your GP.
