Jamie Oliver shares wife Jools annoying household habit in hilarious Instagram post

Given that they’ve been married for over 20 years, it’s no surprise thatJamie Oliver and his wife Jools have discovered each other’s annoying little habits.

The 46 year old chef took to Instagram to celebrate Valentine’s Day and to share his love for his wife – as well as using it as an opportunity to express one bugbear of his.

Revealing his gripe with his 8.9million followers, he wrote: “Happy Valentine's Day to my dear @joolsoliver love you babe enjoy your day. But please stop putting my treasured knives in the dishwasher… hope all you lovers out there have the best day”.

In the photo, Jools, 47, can be seen standing in the kitchen wearing a graphic tee and a pair of dungarees.

The mum-of-five is stood in front of a table topped with eggs and strawberries, and a wooden block showcasing a series of knives – presumably Jamie’s “treasured” ones.

Fans of the TV chef were quick to flood Jamie’s comments with similar annoying habits that their partner’s have.

One wrote: “Hahahaaha!! Love this. My husband also refuses NOT to put them in the dishwasher too…”

Others showed their support for Jools.

“It’s probably because you don’t wash them up quick enough. I’m with Jules,” said one.

Another added: “If you wash them up as soon as you use them – she won’t do it”.

Meanwhile Jools shared a loved-up message for Jamie over on her Instagram account.

Posting a picture of Jamie cooking while on a boat, she wrote: “Happy Valentine's Day my one and only. Thank you for all my treats and countless Cappuccinos always”.

The couple are childhood sweethearts and have been together since they were 17 and they married in June 200.

The pair share five children together – Poppy, 19, Daisy, 18, Petal, 12, Buddy, 11, and River, five.

In an interview with OK! last month,Jamie spoke about his family’s recent move out of the capital.

“We moved out of London and we’re sort of trying to laugh more and have less pressure on our shoulders,” he said.

He also spoke openly about keeping his children away from the spotlight.

“We will always protect our kids. We have teenagers so you won’t really see them, and the little ones are still very much in the bosom of our family,” he explained.

“They have been affected by the Jamie Oliver: Together show, but my relationship with the public is very honest. We treat them with respect. Together is a nice show that doesn’t cross any boundaries.

“I would always ask the kids at the beginning whether they want to be on the show or not.”
